Recap: Alabama Shuts Out Missouri
Alabama dominates Missouri 34-0, seizing control after Cook's injury.
Well folks, it was a good ole fashioned beat down in Tuscaloosa as the Alabama Crimson Tide took Missouri to task with a decisive 34-0 victory. Jamarion Miller stole the show, running two touchdowns over a stubborn Missouri defense. The headliner, of course, was Alabama's ferocious defense sniffing out three interceptions from a struggling Tigers' attack, including an introductory pick by Drew Pyne in relief of the injured Brady Cook. Alabama managed to bounce back into the winner's circle after some tough sledding the past few weeks. This victory put the Tide at 6-2 for the season and 3-2 in the SEC, smoothing the path forward for a potential playoff spot. The Tigers were handed their hats, following an evening of disastrous offensive execution that underscored their inability to adapt in the absence of Cook. Close but no cigar for Missouri, their ranking hopes dashed, leaving only introspection and a hard look in the mirror. Alabama locked up its first SEC shutout since 2020, with coach Kalen DeBoer praising his squad's aggressiveness and spark. Now that's what I call Bama football, y'all.
